“Bye Bye Love” written by Felice and Boudleaux Bryant was recorded by The Everly Brothers on January 3, 1957 and released in March on Cadence Records, reaching number 2 on the US Billboard Pop chart and number 1 on the Cash Box Best Selling Record and Country charts. It was the Everlys’ first million-selling single and was included in their debut album on Cadence, released in 1958. It can be found on CD in the Heartaches & Harmonies Box Set on the Rhino label. Always liked these two guys. This song brings back a lot of memories. I was in the first stages of my military career when this hit the charts.
