Can’t Help Falling in Love – Pentatonix
Pentatonix is an American a cappella group consisting of five members: Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola, and Matt Sallee. They gained popularity after winning the third season of NBC’s a cappella competition show, The Sing-Off, in 2011.
Their cover of “Can’t Help Falling in Love” was released in 2017 as a single and is a rendition of the classic Elvis Presley love song. The song features the group’s signature tight harmonies and vocal arrangements, with Scott Hoying taking the lead on the verses and Mitch Grassi delivering a soaring high note on the chorus.
The music video for the cover features the group performing in a forest, with a romantic storyline involving two dancers accompanying the music. The video has amassed over 200 million views on YouTube, making it one of the group’s most popular covers.
Overall, Pentatonix’s cover of “Can’t Help Falling in Love” showcases the group’s impressive vocal abilities and their ability to put their own spin on a classic song.
