Careless
[slideshow id=36]
I look in your eyes
And want to live there
To hold you- pleasure
Beyond compare
To kiss your lips
A dream to dare
I lived my life
Without a care
My soul was empty
Dark and bare
Now with you
I have a prayer
Never a sight
Was seen so fair
Forgive me please
When I stare
And breathe the life
Of your fresh air.

That can be a good answer…for a person who feels so empty inside…

Josey I liked your comment, as I believe that is probably what this poem is all about. I have a daughter that has trouble with depression and for a long time had to take medication for it. We truly need to attempt to understand their feelings and reach out with love to help them along the way. GOD tells us to do our best to understand others problems and tonpray for them, so to me this poem shows the love that needs to be given.

Maybe the person is just depressed and with the other person there the depression has lifted somewhat and they can handle it better. Just a thought.
