Sounds familiar to growing up in the 70’s ! My mom and Dad didn’t have much , but what we had then was a whole lot of love which was more than “ much “ back then. I love her songs cause they were realistic and practical.

Loved that song. Beautiful message. Makes me very grateful for the time we now live in even with some of its crazy challenges. Makes me feel like a wimp also for what I do not have to face.

Loretta typified a time in history when to survive the whole family worked. There was no hove rnment hand outs’ and kids were loved at home. No need for gangs and the violence that came with them. She will always be my favorite female singer.

I loved Loretta Lynn, loved her music. She’s one of my favorites. I did see the move, and it was great, showed how tough she had it. I would love to have seen her in person.
