This is so wonderful what you are doing, Chee Chee. And everyone who takes just a few minutes to make a smile. Makes a world of difference in so many lives. God bless you all.
I worked many years in a nursing home as a nurses’ aide. I immediately saw the lonely faces of the patients. Every time I passed a room
I always said hello and talked a little while with them.. I am so glad that I did… Loneliness is the worst decease that mankind has (mother
Theresa)… Please, take a little time and say hello to lonely people…you will bless them and yourself… Thank you… Love, Elizabeth Wright
Thank you Elizabeth! We’re on our way out with our little doggie in our arms to visit our local nursing home ~ one of them today. Our other little doggie passed away two years ago. 🙁 We only have our Maltese now and she’s going on 16 years of age. But, she’s very good! She lets everyone pet her and hold her. She never ever bites or growls. Just sits there with this funny look on her face. 🙂 Stay cool today. It’s suppose to be a scorcher here. Hugs ~ Chee Chee Martin 🙂
Lou Ella…You are never alone…JESUS is always with you…Everyone reading your pain will mentally wish you well
and happy…
Mary Ferris… How wonderful that you cared about the lonely…you are a jewel.
Chee chee… What a loving thing to do with your dogs (and you also.)
I wrote this poem shortly after my husband had to put his father into a nursing home. We visited every day and brought our two little doggies. We made the rounds to everyone’s room so they could see and hold the dogs. You wouldn’t believe the twinkle in their eyes and smiles! 🙂 We continue to do that at least once week in the nursing homes around here. Sadly my father-in-law passed away after being there a month. 🙁 Brighten an elderly’s day. Just because you don’t know them doesn’t mean you have to ignore them. Remember, someday we all get old. I’m there now. Hugs ~ Chee Chee Martin

Just think you or someone you love could be that lonely person with no one to
visit you. God loves all especially the lonely
