Any music from the 50’s & 60’s is awesome!! Those were Golden days that the youth of today could never understand…innocence and morality galore. Buddy Holly was always one of my favorites of yesteryears music.

Love his songs. He was gone way too soon.

The music back then was so innocent and wonderful. I loved Buddy Holly too, and the others. I actually had tickets for the concert he was to give when his plane went down. It was so sad to hear that they were all gone, and also, the Big Bopper, really loved his songs too, such a plane of greats who lost their lives, I actually cried.

I loved all the music back then. You could understand what they were saying, it was great. Things were so much better back then.

This song brings back memories of when I first fell in love. The boy I was seeing gave me his Buddy Holly album to listen to, and I played it over and over. My parents were very strict and did not want me to associate with him and it broke my heart. I gave him the album back and that ended our dating. To this day I am still not pleased that my parents had such control on me. I recently saw a Tribute to Buddy Holly at the Opera house in our little town in the North, in Ontario Canada. Every chance I get to play his music I do, and recall the days, when life was better. We had no computers, cell phones, etc. but we had sooooooooooooo much fun playing with our friends. I still have some of these friends to this. What a blessing this is to me.

Oh my – me, too! Strict parents. Even after, I started working, paying rent and reached twenty! (That’s when I left home. Well, at least, they did care. I’ve lost them both and I miss them. Things could’ve been worse, But, oh yest, when that plane went down – oh, not good!)
