Everything Happens for a Reason
In this profound poem, the author explores the purposeful encounters and challenges that shape our lives. It highlights the transformative power of unexpected connections, the lessons learned from hardships, and the importance of self-belief. Through its evocative words, the poem urges us to embrace the present, learn from the past, and create a life without regrets.
Everything Happens for a Reason
Sometimes people come into your life
and you know right away that they were meant to be there,
to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson,
or to help you figure out who you are or who you want to become.
You never know who these people may be. Possibly your roommate or neighbour,
professor or long lost friend, lover, or even a complete stranger.
but when you lock eyes with them, you know at that very moment
they will affect your life in some profound way.
And sometimes things happen to you
that may seem horrible, painful, and unfair at first,
but in reflection you find that without overcoming those obstacles
you would have never realized your potential, strength, willpower, or heart.
Everything happens for a reason.
Nothing happens by chance or by means of good luck.
Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness,
and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul.
Without these small tests, whatever they may be,
life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere.
It would be safe and comfortable,
but dull and utterly pointless.
The people you meet who affect your life,
and the success and downfalls you experience,
help to create who you
are and who you become.
Even the bad experiences can be learned from.
In fact, they are probably the most poignant and important ones.
If someone hurts you, betrays you, or breaks your heart forgive them,
for they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to when you open your heart.
If someone loves you,
love them back unconditionally,
Not only because they love you, but because in a way,
they are teaching you to love and how to open your heart and eyes to things.
Make every day count.
Appreciate every moment and take from those moments
everything that you possibly can
for you may never be able to experience it again.
Talk to people that you have never talked to before,
and actually listen.
Walk the footsteps of a stranger
and you’ll learn things you never know.
Let yourself fall in love, break free,
and set your sights high.
Hold your head up because
you have every right to.
Tell yourself you are a great individual
and believe in yourself,
for if you don’t believe in yourself,
it will be hard for others to believe in you.
You can make of your life anything you wish.
Create your own life and then go out and live it with absolutely no regrets.

Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there…to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or help figure out who you are or who you want to become. Elizabeth…First of all, I’d like to say how much I enjoy reading your messages, they are so heartfelt, genuine and warm, you are alot like my own mother. I am so sorry to hear of your husband’s passing, keep the faith in “GOD ALMIGHTY” he is our greatest treasure!! Elizabeth, my dad passed away 11 years ago, and my mom would always say the rosary and many other prayers for him, she says that prayers help our departed loved ones, they need our prayers for salvation!!
God Bless,

Does this mean that my wife who died from cancer and suffered horribly was part of God’s plan. If so God is not that merciful, is he? I think this is a fucked up way of thinking.

RICHARD…I WILL SAY A PRAYER FOR YOU AND ANOTHER PRAYER FOR YOUR WIFE IN HEAVEN.
LAST MONTH GOD CAME AND WELCOMED MY BELOVED HUSBAND INTO HIS KINGDOM WITH LOVE.
MY HUSBAND ALSO PUT UP A HEROIC FIGHT, BUT GOD WANTED TO END ALL HIS SUFFERING AND
LET HIM HAVE PEACE. I MISS HIM SO. BUT KNOW MY LOVE WOULD NOT WANT
ME TO MORN FOREVER. I FEEL HIM WITH ME A LOT AND SO DO HIS LOVING CHILDREN.
MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND YOURS…
RESPECTFULLY… ELIZABETH W.

After reading this, I had to send it to all of my very special friends and loved ones, and family especially. I have had the most beautiful woman come into my life and become a part of it for 25 yrs. The most wonderful 25 years that any man can be blessed by. Last month, September, God came and took her home. No more pain and no more suffering. She had had cancer in her lungs but not the kind that needed surgery, just medication. She was a very strong woman, and set in her ways. She was and still is my angel. Her mother had died from cancer @ 35yrs, her father also died from cancer, cancer runs in her family, and she would have been 71 beautiful yrs old this coming February, as I will be 70 in the same month. We used to joke that after her birthday I would have to respect my elders gain. I know she is watching over me and our family and one day we will be together again. I can feel here with me very day. I miss her sooooo very much.

Yes, everything happens for a reason, so let God have his way on people who pretended to be innocent and keep feeling innocent and keep blaming other people of a crime, and keep destroying other relationship apart from the past ? and if guilty let come to the open. After all money is not everything. its all about humility, love, respect, confession, forgiveness and acceptance that counts. coz i’m not born to hurt people, im here to help. but if i’m taken for granted, mocked and disrespected by someone i’ve forgiven? then i give it all to God.

I believe it was a message from god telling me I will be fine, I just need to open my heart and receive help which Im not very good at.
Just wanted to share that with everyone

John Mulliniks That is certainly a message from the heart and I agree with every word you typed. Yes it is GOD that send things into our lives that helps us grow and learn to nourish others. We need to have pain to appreciate good health, make mistakes that teaches to set goals to do better along life’s patyhway.

There is a lonesome heart somewhere that needs a lift, I am reaching out as the thunder and lightening is really acting up right outside my glass only a couple of feet to my left, of course you cannot hear or see what I am wittnessing, but it is quite a storm! This is the lake side, so we never placed blinds, we wanted the view whis is very pretty, the lake and high bridge so the ships can go under it, the bridge of I-210 is across the lake to re join I-10 and on through Texas, NM, and ARIZ into Los Angles!!! Hope that you are happy , safe and confortable, and that the LORD is with you and you are at peace with the world, God bless you and yours, HE is FAITHFUL and will bless and care for you, if I can be help let me know, I will do what I can, thanks for being a part of my life, God bless you and maranatha!!! I love you all in Christ, read John 3:3 understand it then go to John 3:16 and accept HIM with all your heart and if I do not see you here soon, I will see you in HEAVEN… love you all…

This is SO VERY TRUE. Even if we don’t understand at time. I am 1 in 15 (my docs stat) who survived an idiopathic brain aneurysm. I am in an ‘assisted living’ 30 min. from my mothers house & the detached apt. she has. I am 58 & every here is over 75. However there TRULY IS a reason for everything. *I firmly believe in the Grace of God. (“Amazing Grace” is my favorite hymn & I know the story behind it) How I wish I had a copier. I don’t even know how I found this site. THANK U MUCHLY.

FOR EVERY PAIN THAT WE MUST BEAR, FOR EVERY BURDEN, EVERY CARE,
THERE IS A REASON!
FOR EVERY GRIEF THAT BOWS THE HEAD, FOR EVERY TEAR DROP THAT IS SHED,
THERE IS A REASON!
BUT IF WE TRUST GOD AS WE SHOULD, IT WILL ALL WORK FOR GOOD,
GOD ALMIGHTY KNOWS THE REASON.!!!!!!

Of course I don’t like pain, unhappiness, and rejection, but I know that JESUS is always waiting for me to turn to Him for answers and comfort. I really think it does make you stronger in your faith. Don’t you???
