My husband and I always loved to hear Vince sing. My husband passed away 3 years ago and it was played memorial his celebration of life. Vince is on of my favorite male singers his voice is so soft and soothing.

This is one of his best songs and our family used this song at my dad’s funeral and for us it will always be a special song with a special guy that sung the song.

Absolutely beautiful song! Helped me get through the loss of my Dad. And when Vince Gill sang this song when George Jones passed away, he sang his song with so much meaning and feelings, I was in tears also. A beautiful man with a beautiful heart!!

I think he wrote that song when Merle Haggard passed away because he sang it at Merles funeral == the other one was Ricky Skaggs , and who the lady (country singer) was – I cant remember her name…I always liked Vince Gill = a smooth singer and good
