Through God, we as his children can all stand together and get prayers back in our schools and in every place prayers were in. Let’s all stand together and get God back where He belongs. He loves us and does all things for us, let’s do the same for Him. Our children need God in their lives now, and grow up knowing He is the Saviour of us all. What is wrong with so many people, who took God out of schools in the first place? I would really like a truthful answer. I think I have an idea.
Do you?

Rich, All is so true. I remember the fifties and sixties as you. GOD was in schools then. We prayed before class and when we got put in the corner for being bad. In these times you had true friends which helped one another. As I grew older my friends would help me if I had a Epileptic Fall to the ground . We had Friday night Football games where we cared for Our football players, not be on phones playing a another game in the stands. We had DOCTORS who CARED for you and not saying hi and good bye so they can charge you more .

Rich, you are admired by many for sure. You certainly are by me. May God be with you. May He be with us all. I remember all those things and enjoyed every minute of it after we got home from the cotton fields, corn fields, and pulling up peanuts. We were farmers, work came first. Good times later. Then a good meal all together. God Bless us all.
Love to all- Mary Hall

Really good days. From a large family and days we did not have a lot to eat…….But we were happy. We grew up feeling safe and loved. 50’s and 60’s music was wonderful. Grateful for that and many times long for those simple days.

We who were lucky to live our youth in the fifties and sixties were a generation by itself. Those truly were the good ole days. We were taught manners, respect for your elders and right from wrong. We were happy with a rubber ball to play dozens of different games with, and it only cost ten cents. The girls had jump rope and dolls. When we reached our teens, we had dances and the beach and saturday morning cartoons and funny movies like the three stooges, Abbot and Costello and Laurel and Hardy. Lets’ not forget the bowery boys and the little rascals. The music we had then, you could understand the words they sang. If you were lucky, your family had a ( B&W ) TV. Couples got married first and then had children. Most families got by with the dad working and making enough to pay the bills. God Almighty was included in our upbringing and we were proud to be natural born Americans. Going to church or temple was a commandment that we lived by. Lying was a sin. Stealing was a sin. A promise was good enough to be trusted by. we listened to our parents or else. The world is a lot different today to say the least. I will leave my comments at that, and remember the greatest times I grew up during.
