How Great Thou Art on Pan Flute
Nick Tacu performs a pan flute version of “How Great Thou Art”.
“How Great Thou Art” is a Christian hymn that originated in Sweden in the late 19th century. It was written by Swedish poet Carl Boberg and later translated into English by Stuart K. Hine. The hymn expresses gratitude and awe for the beauty of nature and the greatness of God. Over the years, it has become a popular and widely sung hymn in various Christian denominations.
The pan flute is an ancient musical instrument consisting of a row of tuned pipes or tubes, typically made of bamboo or metal, of varying lengths. It is played by blowing across the open end of the pipes to produce different notes. The pan flute has a unique and soothing sound that is often associated with folk music from different cultures around the world. It has been used in a variety of musical genres, including classical, traditional, and contemporary music.

This is my favorite hymn, and I truly love it, and I think this young man did a great job with it. I sang it at my sister’s funeral several years ago now.
