Bless you, Evelyn. An early Happy Birthday to you! I will be 83 soon, widowed and I am still able to care for myself. And, drive on occasion! I have a rescued dog that keeps me company on some lonely days. Unfortunately he has more health issues than I do! Lol. I think we rescued each other at the right time. I am blessed with children, grandchildren, and couple of great-grandchildren, some are fairly close by, if needed. I don’t make many calls for help, thank God. So, I am very fortunate. Grateful for each day. Best wishes to you on your 90th!

I am in that age bracket, and have trouble walking. In Nov.I will be 90.looking forward to it, too.Never had children, but have lots of caring young people.
I still live in my own home. Life is what we make it

Being a senior I really enjoyed that story and can identify with them. I’m thankful I’m still independent. I go to my senior senior once a week for knitting and lunch. Since I’m a widow I don’t get out much so that one day outing means a lot to meto socialize and have fun.

Well done. Posted it on FB. It is one which many of us relate to due to the closeness in age and others because they can see themselves down the road.
