Kindergarten Teacher Sends Student Note Nearly 30 Years Later
Most of us will never forget our first kindergarten teacher. And sometimes… they remember us too. “When I first saw him, I could hardly believe it,” said Lorly Schik about a little boy who walked into her classroom nearly 30 years ago, a boy who was grown up when she turned on KARE 11 Sunrise last spring and recognized him.

What a wonderful story. Yes, she was definitely put on this earth to teach. And there are so many like her. Sad we don’t hear more stories like this.

Beautiful. You could tell the teachers that really loved to teach and loved you. Brought tears to my eyes and I thank you.

As a former kindergarten teacher , this little video brings a smile on my face . This is so real. I am still out and about and meet former students from time to time .Since I taught elementary grades as well , these meetings occur often . Memories are golden!
