I finished reading ‘Killing Lincoln’ awhile ago and it always amazes me all the things that Lincoln was a failure at but what an amazing President he was. Those failures prepared him for the ultimate success. God really used that man as this country’s leader. We don’t teach the importance of failure. It really can be a test of fortitude.

Sometimes the things we miss in life are things that were not meant to be to begin with, for very substantial reasons and an enormous difference in values. Although there are people and events in our lives we shall forever hold dear, that remain precious and scared, we can truly never return. This is where a deep faith in Christ plays a major role. It’s about faith and character, having the courage to turn away and make a better life with peace in your your heart that you made the right decision. Sometimes we are called upon to be ambassadors of peace and love, to help old friends get back on the right track, just letting them know how much you valued and loved them when they were in your life.
