Very philosophical and indeed a journey and everyone has to have a valid passport ,which expires the second we exit that trip. Am happy am still traveling and still have a valid passport at80.
This is the best one that I have seen regarding ‘Life on the Train – Life’s Journey’. As you get older, that last station is not that far away, and you know that you’ll meet those that already have reached that last station. They are waiting for you! God Bless and enjoy the rest of your journey.
This story is beautifully written; it tells us not to be too content with our journey on the train, whether it be comfortable, tolerable, wonderful or splendid, because without notice, your seat may be required for another passenger OR you may discover a new passenger now needs the seat NEXT to you. If we all can be as happy as we can be during the train ride, we will discover we need to be cooperative all the time, to reap as much good from the ride as we can; lest we will not have good memories of this train ride or of any other one.
So beautiful I cry every time I view this. But the sweet sadness is a reflection of God’s desire that we all one day know Him as He is and see how He truly loves us without bounds.
Carylin you are so right the friends we make on our Train Ride of Life, certainly is a blessing and I am so thankful that OUR HEAVENLY FATHER has placed many in my life for these 94 years. I am still making friends with the ladie’s family members that live here in the board and care home with me. Well now this is my third time around to say to everyone, May GODS Angels continue to watch over all of you forever, is my praayer.
Loved this……. The friends that we make on our journey are such a blessing. May everyone on this journey of life have the assurance of a Heavenly Journey when we reach our stop. God is good.
The second time to wach and I appreciate the great train ride OUR HEAVENLY FATHER is still giving me, at 94 years of age, as I am still young at heart, but slightly older in other parts. May GODS Angels continue to watch over all of you forever, is my prayer.
A very true comparison to our life here on this earth and when we get off the train the final time and meet everyone that we knew and loved in our life on earth. Truly good advice to think of life as a train ride.
So far on my train ride I have known such love and am still experiencing it… What beautiful and loving
memories they are and continue to be… Thanks Steve … I feel that you have experienced the same
love…
That was truly a wonderful train ride of great advice. Well I am still on my train and feel blessed to be here for over 92 years, which OUR HEAVENLY FATHER certainly gave me a lovely childhood, loving parents, sister, friends,, a loving caring husband, two daughters grandchildren and great-grandchildren to love and cherish. I have tears of joy in my eyes and peace within my heart. Thank you Steve Politte for that very inspiring message.
Yes, we all have a own journeys and the people that come in and out of your lives, might stay for a while, or pass through very quickly…How true that is… We all have an opinion and a right to make our own choices in life’s travels… LIVE and LOVE Like there is NO Tomorrow…When you find someone to share you dreams with and you know in your heart, that you are meant to be together…You better hold on to them and never let them go… I am so blessed to have a wonderful family and good friends who will always be there for you…
Very thought provoking….it made me think how precious life is and not to take it for granted. Im so blessed to wake up each day knowing it’s the first day of the rest of my life. Love and blessings
Beautiful insight into traveling on the train. For some people it’s a meaningful
trip to visit friends or family. For some it’s a one way journey and they shant go
back again. I love the graphics.
A beautiful card indeed….God put us on this earth for a purpose, and our life is like the train that travels from station to station. God be with you all!
Great write Steve. Reminds me of my youth wanting to ride the rails
to see things and places I couldn’t see otherwise.
Soothing music and nostalgic pics.
