Always enjoyed this group (formed in my hometown Toronto at the time) and their several hits which helped make for very good live performances. This tune was always the big finale but our crowd equally-appreciated the earlier version by “The Chords”….who unfortunately didn’t highly rank on many of the MOR (white) market charts.
We the “Cougers” with our pink and black jackets, pegged pants called this our gang’s song. Ready to rumble? How crazy we were looking back on it now. Than in ’57 started 20years in the USN. Thanks for sharing.

Enjoy all of the past singers. Especially the Diamonds and Little Darlin! Always enjoyed this song as they sang it and still do sing it. Thank you. LD
