RODICA… I agree with you …
But I sometimes think that this world is “me first” and then the compassion, love and respect is gone …
Loving yourself o.k., but not hurting others in the meantime…
In true love we cannot question who is first or second…because we give everything we can without motivation…
If we are asking something of that…our love is not as pure as she should be…
GOD’S love is there for us to learn to respect and love ourselves. By doing this we will are able to love others, especially in finding a lifetime partner to be with forever. I thank GOd that is what happened to me. I only shared my one true love, as there never could be anyone to replace him.
i love myself and try to make ends meet ,so i want be worried , so i can give my love to everyone else and not be worryied and cant enjoy helping and being with others, i am disable and i dont feel well ofteen ,but if i can take my monthly check and have enough to keep this roof over my head , then whoever needs me, i can be there and they will have a place to lay there head also if needed, because, i have so much love in my heart i want to share and have someone to share it with, i thank god for being here to help me in jesus anme amen,
Why to …compare…
God said to love every-one…as we love ourselves
But I don’t think …even put on discussion…because we are different person with different possibilities for love…
Each-one …we have just love…without any other consideration
Women have an inborn need to love and be loved. It doesn’t matter how old we are, the need is still there, we don’t lose the capacity and need to love until we die. (I can’t say I love myself I’m too aware of my shortcomings.)
There has been only one person in my life that I have truly loved and still do today. Being with him made me feel really good about myself. At the time, I loved myself because of him!
Moving away separated us forever. It was hard to say goodbye. I never stopped thinking about him and had always hoped to see him or talk with him again, but that never happened. It was about 3 years ago that I acquired a computer and learned to use the Internet. Once I began using the Internet, I began to rebuild a relationship and friendship. Now that I have built this heart-warming loving relationship, I feel happier and I’m hoping he’s happier too. Having the use of the Internet gives us something to look forward to every day.
People were built to love & be loved.Love is to be shared & enjoyed! A magic moment of happiness CAN last a lifetime!! THREE little words-“I LOVE YOU” can make it happen.Enjoy the day-as if it`s your last one !!!
“Love thy neighbor as thyself” Seems to make more sense to me.
Being competitive in loving never works out…
Nope, don’t particularly like this poem… Try again…

I surrender! Beautiful. Only when we love ourselves, only then may we wholly experience love for another. When I loved him more than myself, I was miserable, feeling like half the person I am. It put far too great of a responsibility on him. It took a whole lifetime to really learn how to love myself, through the pain I suffered. Now I chose to love him with my whole heart. May my generous love be a beautiful gift to his heart and soul. May he anticipate every new day in confidence and joy of my eternal love for him that only grows deeper in sharing a life together.
