Wonderful memories. All of us in our matching pjj’s…and metal tinsel on the tree. How I miss that. It took forever to put on but it was so beautiful. Great times

I absolutley loved this. such great memories. I was born in ’54 but by the end of the 50’s I can still recall these great times. the only thing that made me laugh in this video is the elderly man with his silver Christmas tree with “velcro strapped” shoes on, which didn’t exsist them, but who cares?! the video is great.

I was “hatched” in ’44 & I remember those days as if they were yesterday!!! Wonderful, wonderful olden days….

I was born in 1948 thus I remember all of these things. But the one thing I remember most is the store displays at the big stores envolving their corner windows. The stores always had something different every year. I also remember going to the big stores and seeing Santa and receiving a gift.
