As a child, I remember getting things that were needed as Christmas gifts and usually a doll. Family being together was the important thing. Making popcorn and stinging it for garland and construction paper also. Lots of memories. Now Christmas is so commercialized it takes the real meaning away. Parents are too willing to go along with this idea and no one is really thankful for anything, they just expect it. Oh, for the days of old. Remember Jesus is the Reason for the Season.
I remember the old days when family got together and there was homemade gifts that were so much personal and people appreciated them.Today in this world the childern and teenagers are so spoiled by their parent with all the modern technology! What happened to just families getting together and singing Christmas songs and going out and sledding!I just appreciate the family togetherness and food to fill everybodys belly! The smiling faces of the small children getting their toys and baby dolls!
When I was a child…until my 14th year old (when my grandpa lived this life)…even we didn’t have a lot of money…but I was very, very loved…and very spoilt granddaughter…
Everything I wanted at this time he was the first to accomplish my wish…
I love you grandpa!…I miss you so much!
