I wasn’t born in those days (wish I was) born in 1960. Love to view and read and experience those days, when life was much simpler lifestyle (yes, know it was harder), for it was the ”Great Generation” era, for after WWII, time when progress really started for American society. The music, cars, the home style living, to earn a good living, for wished I grew up in. For site like these, to respect and appreciate those times of yester years.

Our house was a 2-story with 3 bedrooms. It cost $13,500 @ 7 percent. It was 1955. But this was post World War II and peace was wonderful.
