This was the first record I ever heard that was American. As a British boy of 12 I was just a Beatles fan.
But then I heard this. And then The Byrds had a massive hit with it, Number One in Britain and Number One in the USA at the same time.
The first record ever to do that. A smash on both sides of the Atlantic.
Those were the days, they really were.
Oh to be 12 again, stay safe everybody, love really is the answer.
