My Knight
[slideshow id=42]
You wear no suit of armor
Nor any metal shell;
Yet your steely eyes soften
And I fall under your spell.
You’d climb the highest mountain
Or swim the widest sea;
You’d fight the strongest giant
To win my love, I see.
Full of love and laughter
You make my world secure;
Truthful and courageous,
Your love for me is pure.
You’re my lover and my idol;
I’m your castle, you’re my king.
You surround my world with love
And you make my heart sing.
I hate to be without you–
‘Cause you’re everything to me;
My knight in shining armor,
Of these arms you’ll never be free.

Thanks all who have viewed and commented on my poem. Thanks all the guys and gals at https://www.nethugs.com who put this poem to music and photographs. I am truly blessed! My knight is my husband of 24 years Richard, and I am so blessed to have met him. He is my soulmate sent to me by God. Have faith and He will bring yours to you as well. I had to wait 28 years for Richard, but it was well worth the wait.

Sometimes love has to say good bye and maybe that is ok….love should never hurt or be afraid!!
This is a nice poem and Jesus the son and Abba the father and the Holy spirit keeps me balanced…God helps us keep the main thing the main thing!!

To love and to be loved is the greatest blessing of all. There are cowards who are incapable of doing so. I was once married to one.

cowered cannot be a knight, whom cannot even express love boldly.What will happened yes or no.But if you not let the person know you love them you burn all your life.Each day you live and each day you die.

My Knight in Shining Armor died 23 years ago. I always told him he was and it has never changed. I know I will see him again, if I didn’t think that, I would not have survived.

Chivalrous knight every young lady dreams and loves to have union with! For, he sacrifices everything for his love in this world!

Alas, my Darling. This poem emphases the mere essence of our beings. Our love was a brilliant perfect jewel, chiseled and polished into a timeless gem. Far too much time has passed and we are growing older and weary, leaving the residue of tears embedded in our hearts. Thank you for your wonderful strong presence. Your love remains a powerful force driving my inspiration. I still have so much great work to accomplish. I may only hope that one day the door will open and you shall appear.

My precious Knight has been gone for almost 10 years and there will never be another. I read this beautiful card out loud and I am sure he heard it. A brain tumor took him away from me.
THANK YOU TO PAM DAVIS’ WONDERFUL KNIGHT FOR KEEPING US SAFE AND PRAY THAT HE GETS HOME SAFE SOON. THANK YOU, THANK YOU. I HAD A SON IN IRAQ AND DESERT STORM. HE’S HOME SAFE AND I THANK GOD EVERY DAY.

Indeed a knight difficult to part with by any lady love! He is the best protection a lady can expect in this world of uncertainty!

Pam Davis: Be sure and tell your knight in shining armor in Iraq that we appreciate his service that is keeping us free. Keep the faith, Pam.

My knight in shining armor of 59 years of marriage is now in the kitchen making some delicious cookies with cherries, (which I like.) He is my knight and I am his queen…We are not perfect, but perfect as we can possibly be as human beings.
Praise the Lord !!!
Blessings…Elizabeth W.

My favorite line is Yet your steely eyes soften. Your love is pure. That is just so sweet! It is wonderful when you have one who makes your heart sing. I can so relate to this. With the last line, I just think of an arm embracing me and then both arms coming together to hug me. A hug is wonderful medicine to the soul. When you can’t have a hug a terrific card like this will do. Thank you! I love you, too!
