Dick, good to hear you enjoyed the aviation pictures. By the way I recently flew in a R44 helicopter over the Superstion Montains in AZ and it was enjoyable and sites were unbeliveable. Patty
Would have starved without airplanes. Aviation supported us for over 50 years. As FAA inspector, worked on everything from J-3s to 707s. Loved every minute.
i enjoy aviation, and the warbIrds. My late husband was a pilot 2 tours in VietNam. I reside in Mesa AZ and the first Saturday from Nov. to May at the Coolege airport in Coolege AZ the have. Fly in and often have Warbirds, experimental aircraft and more modern aircraft. A breakfast is served by the ROTC staff from local high school. Really enjoyable get their by 0800, also of note the Airport is dedicated to the 82nd Airborne
Rolands really right I TRAINED AT KINGMAN AAF TO BE A GUNNER AND GOT RIDE ON B17S WAS ENDED.
THEN ENDED UP IN THE OCCUPATION FORCE AT NUREMBURG WHERE WE HAD 660 P51s, 550 P47s AND A BUNCH OF OTHER FIGHTERS. SO GOOD TO SEE THE GOOD OLD BIRDS
LOVE THE OLD PHOTOGRAPHS.LOVE THE ONE WHO SHOT DOWN 20 JAP PLANES. ALL THESE LIVES LOST AND WE END UP WITH THIS BOZO IN THE WHITE HOUSE=LORD HAVE MERCY
So happy to see these planes and their memories. My late husband was a tail gunner, still don’t know how he fit his tall frame in there to do his job.God Bless all of our men and women in the American Uniform.
A long time ago, I was just a boy in Auburn, Indiana during this period, I lived and died with the war, we won but what has happened to this country since, the people have changed, these people were special and not many of them are still around, GOD bless them.
