Thank you for creating a wonderful video from “back in the day”, as the young people say now. I grew up in the 50’s and I am sure when we went on family vacations, up north we saw a lot these old Filling Stations. I am better at remembering the antique cars. My Dad sold Pontiacs and for a girl or young woman, I was always trying figure out the make and year of the cars we passed. Yes those were the days, when your neighbors were always ready to help if they could. God Bless your organization and the beautiful videos that I have enjoyed for many years. Carol

Thank you for the stroll down memorylane! It did indeed bring back so many past pictures in my mind. I remember so many of those gas stations, and the cars! Oh my! In those days they were called ‘filling stations’. I never saw one, though, that had the glass container that dispensed a gallon at a time. My husband did, though, and used them. Remember the gas wars? Not today, though. Life was tough for so many people in those days, but sometimes I would still like to return to them to live a simpler safer life. Thank you again, God Bless.

I liked the designs of some of the gas stations, they were pretty and interesting. Moreover the personal attention the owners would give to their customers is remembered.

I’m old enough to remember most of the pics, although I don’t recall much of the music. This was a real treat seeing all of yesterday’s gas stations…many thanks Paths!!

Music and pictures are amazing. To think our children will never be able to experience what we did. Did travel on Route 66 a couple of times. Was a great trip.

Well Way7ne I remember those days too way back in the early 1930’s, as I went with my Dad to the service station. Sure different than how things are in this day an age. MAY gods ANGELS WATCH OVER ALL OF YOU FOREVER, IS MY PRAYER.

Great pictures, I remember some of the old stations and when you had to pump the gas up into the pump, then gravity poured it down so many gallons into your car. Cheapest I remember paying for gas was 15.9 cents a gallon.

I can remember riding in my grandfathers car and looking for TEXACO for gas for his car. He would only put TEXACO in his car.

Wow!!! That knocked the my socks right off, as the old saying goes. I really enjoyed this the pictures and the songs. Sure did bring back lots of old memories, as when you get to be 93 years of age you are blessed with many. If I could of gotten up out of my wheelchair would have danced around to the music, as I really enjoyed it. May GODS angels continue to watch over all of you forever, is my prayer.
