Bob as I am looking forward to being reunited with my beloved in Heaven when God calls me home. Hugs to you
Steve Politte and Chee Chee Martin. May God always Bless the Both of You. And Bob God Bless you also.
My dear friend Steve Politte made this video and my very dear friend Glenna wrote the poem. As I mentioned in a previous response, Glenna passed away in October of 2011. Her poetry can be viewed throughout the Internet. I know Glenna wrote this poem about her Bob. They were very much in love. Bob is looking forward to being reunited with his beloved Glenna when God calls him home. Hugs ~ Chee Chee Martin
The author of this poem, Glenna Baugh, passed away in October of last year. She was a very dear friend of mine and I want to thank you all for leaving a comment to her beautiful poem! She is loved and missed by so many ~ especially her hubby, Bob. Hugs ~ Chee Chee Martin
We cannot have everything we want…like we want…we have to be happy with what we have and how we are…it is the age…and your gray is more beautiful than ever…
Our dear sweet Glenna passed away on October 8, 2011. I know of her love for her dear sweet Bob and of her love for our Lord Jesus. She loved writing poetry and sharing it with everyone. She is now with Our Lord, no longer in pain. I will surely miss her! Hugs ~ Chee Chee Martin
Believe it or not, he knows you are there beside him, because you are his reason to stay alive. My Mother was Alzheimer’s for 15 years and she would surprise me with some very profound acknowledgments now and then. God bless you dear. If you had abandoned your husband, that would be the worst tragedy of all. You have no idea just how infinite the grace of God is and where it may lead you, nor reasons why these things happen. I do know this, when there is great love, it is never over and there will be eternity to look forward to. God never lets you down, although it may seem beyond your comprehension at this time. Very few couples have shared 45 great years together. Truly, You were the lucky ones. Never give up hope. Never. You are a part of this man’s heart and soul.
The worst ill fated destiny would be spend your Autumn years alone. If you never knew love, nor had it in your life, it would be a sorry end. Of course family, grandchildren and dear friends fill such voids.
MY HUSBAND OF 59 YEARS SAID TO ME THE OTHER DAY WHEN LOOKING AT ME, “I NEVER KNEW THAT I WOULD
BE MARRIED TO AN 80 YEAR OLD WOMAN… (HE IS 82) I LAUGHED AND THEN WE BOTH LAUGHED… A SENSE OF HUMOR KEEPS THINS GOING…
Blessings… Elizabeth W.
