Our Planet: Supercut of BBC Natural History Programming
The BBC Natural History Unit is responsible for some incredibly captivating television. These nature series are fascinating to watch to learn about the planet, its many diverse inhabitants, and its varied ecosystems. But it’s also a real achievement in terms of filmmaking — the production captures species both large and small using various camera technologies; the series also employs the use of time-lapse and slow-motion photography to masterful effect.
This 20-minute supercut explores our planet and celebrates the work of the talented and dedicated teams at the BBC who captured these powerful and beautiful images. Included is footage from 13 BBC series: Planet Earth, Life, Frozen Planet, Nature’s Most Amazing Events, and more.
