Alexandr Mish of Russia recently put together this compilation of people going out of their way to rescue animals in need. The touching compilation features an elephant calf rescued from a hole, 30 stranded dolphins rescued by beachgoers, a whale freed from a shark net and more.

Just Charlie I agree with you completely that animal should always be treated with kindness. I enjoyed these pictures and rejoiced for the help that was given to the animals that were in trouble.

i’m touched how the whale expressed his gratitude to the people who freed him/her…. good job for the rescuers and to the whale as well….

Seen the majority of these but I never get tired of them. To me, humanity should be judged on how they treat the animals. Proven fact-people who mistreat animals are overwhelmingly likely to mistreat people also.

Very well done and touching. I loved the rescue of the baby elephant and that the rescuers made sure that the baby and mama were together again.
