Outstanding views of hard scrabble times in America. Thank you!
Particularly interesting to me, Native Americans. I know they warred on each other, but I wish the white men had left them the hell alone!
Feel the same way Elizabeth. Too spoiled to live back then and it was probably really hard on woman. Who is taking the land in Europe? Just like to hear how other people feel.
They were very hard working people in the 1880’s… Am glad that I don’t live in that time, no air-conditioning,
warm furnaces, dust all around, no grocery stores and no Walmart…
How is this any different than the world today, the white man came and drove out the Indians which were here
first and made slaves of them and took their land by force… Isn’t this the same as is happening in Europe
today ??? Hasn’t man learned anything yet ???
How interesting for a person it is to live 6000 miles away and see these old history pictures, from the old times, in “old America”… beautiful!!
Thanks to the people who set this up!

Hard living in those days. We are spoiled these days, but I am grateful for what I have.

Thanks for sharing these pics. It makes me even more appreciative of the things that we just take for granted and enjoy today.

I thought ‘indians were considered to be ‘Native Americans’ More importantly we are ALL ‘terrans’ or Earthlings.
