All of my loved ones, creatures, relatives and friends who have gone to Heaven with the LORD, I will remember always, forever, eternally and beyond… GOD BLESS…
I love this poem and I have memorized it as an English teacher and I remember my studentsk eyes looking through me everytime I recite this poem to them, wondering who was in my mind and heart while I deliver my poem. No one knew and no one knows until tonight, this is for a first love who died without even fulfilling the plans we designed together …
Wonderful poem which brought so many memories of two special friend who passed on but the precious memories are ever near.No more pain and trials—safe in the arms of Jesus-
Having just lost two wonderful friends…one young and the other old. Made no difference to me because I loved them both. This poem touched my heart but not with sadness but hope because they left us to ascend to their eternal home with their Savior and Lord. We’ll miss them, of course but know one day we’ll seen them again when we make that journey from earthly bonds and straight to the arms of God where we’ll always be safe and secure leaving behind all troubles and strife for there’ll be no tears or sorrow in the city of God where we go.
I remember reading of a family going over their grandmother’s belongings after she had passed
away and finding a beautiful tapestry that she had made and hidden in the lower corner were
the words, “Remember Me.”
Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you planned:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.

Remember
(Text Version)
Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
