To laugh is to risk appearing the fool
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental
To reach out for another is to risk involvement
To expose feelings is to risk exposing your true self
To play your ideas, your dreams before the crowd is to risk their loss
To love is to risk not being loved in return
To live is to risk dying
To hope is to risk despair
To try is to risk failure
But risk must be taken, because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing
The person who risks nothing, does nothing, has nothing and is nothing
He may avoid suffering and sorrow, but he simply cannot learn, feel, change, grow, love
Chained by his certitudes, he is a slave
He has forfeited freedom
Only a person who risks…..is free

If I don’t take any risks, I am a fearful person, still in my cage… In taking some risks, you are let out of
your cage and feel free once again… Besides, GOD is always with you guiding you…

Wow! That should bring everyone to the point of taking risk, so their lives will have meaning. Risk laughing, because it brings joy and good health. Risk loving others is fulfilling to me. Risk tears I feel helps cleanse the soul. I have taken many risk during my lifetime of 89 years and probably will continue doing so, until GOD is ready to take me home. being alive is A risk…everything people do is a risk….but in some things..laughing is NOT a risk..it makes you feel good inside..we CANNOT live without taking changes…the way whatever his name is WRONG..if we cannot take risk..then we might as well hang our self and then we have nothing to worry..about…we all have to take some risk..or we cant live

LIFE iteslf is a great RISK. You can’t live without risks – flying in a plane, driving in a car, sleeping, eating – all these are very highly risky ventures. We live RISK, eat RISK, drink RISK, walk RISK, laugh RISK, sleep RISK, weep RISK and e very other human endeavour is RISK!

Thinking about this email, I realize that I am sorry for not risking things in the past.
What if, etc., I am getting out of this “comfort zone” and stepping out, not out of fear, but in wonder. But, I am very happy that I did “risk” some things in the past.
If I fail, so what… if I succeed, THAT’S GREAT !!!

To live is to risk…to love is to risk…everything is a risk! But risk we must take, for our own growth and knowledge. In life,we do not always get what we want,but it is in the yearning and striving to get it,that gives us the drive to strive harder…thus stretch our will and therefore makes us strong.

the poem says very well! it is very true that life is a risk!
but as we risk, we learn and gain knowledge and wisdom too! person
who won’t risk, is avoiding life, and avoiding him or herself too!

I must have had MUCH FREEDOM?Risk Taking in my life according to this and still going through it ……….. . In Oct 2000 my oldest son got married , Feb 2001 my husband and I found out we were going to be grandparents for the first time by this married son . In Mar 2001 my husband of almost 31 yr went home SUDDENLY to be with Jesus . May 2001 my youngest son graduated from high school , July 2001 he went off to his Freshman yr of college . Aug 2001 I became a grandmother for the first time , a beautiful baby boy . So my whole house was an empty nest all at one time ……… 2 1/2 yrs passed and I meant a wonderful man who had lost his wife in Dec 2000 just as suddenly and in the same way as I had lost my spouse ….. we were married in 2004 ……. after celebrating 5 yr together he ask for a divorce in Aug of this yr …….when I ask him if we could go for counseling he said NO , IT IS NOT FIXABLE and I DON’t WANT TO FIX IT ………. with that being said I then agreed to GIVING him his last gift from me a DIVORCE
not what I want but I must let him FLY and be FREE ……. during this time frame I have a twin brother who is not well due to cancer ……. GOD’s timing is perfect I
understand that part …….but I get home today to find a Birthday card from my soon to be ex that is signed Love *** ……… some things are never understood in God’s big world but someday I will understand it ALL . Until then I will continue to take risk and glean what I can from the Lord during the situation …….. praying that it all allows me to be a better person tomorrow because of today .

I believe that those that love have failed still need to give it a chance again, he/she have to take another risk and to give it a trial. And those that cannot afford to risk it, still need to give it a trial as well.Those that has not take any risk, will have no love, feeling and affection.

Risk is is change it is the only thing that with or without permission would happen just give it time and space. once you fail inlife to risk you are living empty. it is just as saying you do not want to die yet you have life. iots better not to have life rather not hoping to die one day. so i agree entoto with the author that risk is a must that is the only way to learn, apprecite, share, teach, improve and change the world and one self for better.

yes, very true.if you cant risk,then you are really a good for nothing person because you can never achieve anything.How do you expect to enjoy your investment if you are afraid of investing? i truly agree with the author/writer.Good work, please look for more.I think this will make people to start believing in them selves.

1st.divorce a life with couple is defferent feeling with 2nd the one who past away first, the 1st feeling can easy married again special for a man, but the 2nd feeling special for a woman not easy to forget 1st married.honestly has feeling afraid for 2nd married afraid for a risk of everything for 2nd married …………
