Love his singing ! He’s what I think real country music is supposed to be sung like. I discovered him late in life and wish I could have seen him in person. I don’t care much for modern country music. The old favorite singers like George Jones, Alan Jackson, George Strait.
Tammy Wynette and Merle Haggard and others are not heard much anymore. I miss them all.
I heard him, “live” in a concert back home in Marfa years ago. Don had a certain way with his songs and his voice that made one appreciate life as we lived back then and how we look back now that things have changed so much. Wonderful memories to look at and think of from back then !!!! Thank you for sharing this !
