Stardust – Nat King Cole
“Stardust,” was composed in 1927 by Hoagy Carmichael. Lyrics by Mitchell Parish were added in 1929. Nat King Cole originally recorded this American standard for his 1957 Capitol album, Love Is the Thing, arranged by Gordon Jenkins. Released as a single “Stardust” peaked at #79. He rerecorded the song in stereo, presented here, for his 1961 album, The Nat King Cole Story, available on CD on the EMI label.
