TCR took the high road and did not venture into the nickname of the Taylor Cafe, which is “The Half and Half”. They did this for politically correct reasons.
They also did not mention how many hundreds of railroad men ate there daily and also took food to go for a long twelve hour trip on the train to San Antonio, Palestine, Fort Worth, and more.
