My beloved family and friends. It is now February 28th. I had the surgery…both knees replaced, but many complications…e.g., a stroke, dangerously low potassium, whereas the hospital had to put in an IV in my veins for four hours (excruciating pain) and in that four hours pain killers in a complete hospital bed of ice to bring down the swelling, afterward, potassium pills. HIgh fevers, difficulty in therapy….my health as mentioned earlier is fragile. In any case, I’m now home as of January 28th. I have therapists, nurses and a caregiver here 24-7. Process of recuperation is slow. So I still need those prayers. Thank you all so much for your suipport, love, concern, gifts, phone calls, and so much more once I returned home. I have over 2, 000 e-mails which I’m slowly going through…thus the reason for me in responding here. In any case I will be in touch as much as I can. Part of my therapy is to get away from the physical therapy and get rid of the pain…not the pain that I had before the surgery, the different pain since. I will keep you posted. I love you all.
Peace, love & joy,
Lola

To my beloved family and friends on here, I will be going on for major double knee replacement on January 3rd. My health is extremely fragile and its touch and go. It only it were the knees, I would be able to handle the burden that is laying heavy on my shoulders. But, I wanted to let each of you know how much I love and care about each of you. If we never have the chance to write or talk on here again please know each of you at some point in time have touched my heart in ways that you have no idea. Many of you have asked for where I’ll be…here it is: Riddle Memorial Hospital 1098 W. Baltimore Pike, Media, Pa. 19084. Patient Name: Ann Hoskins. I won’t be able to answer the hospital phone due to the degree of the surgery, but my cell phone is: 1-610-329-6469. Each of you have been to me the family that I never had or will have. Each of you have been the friends that I have cherished with your input, comments, tears, joys, and laughter. When alone with Jesus, please whisper my name to Him, as I do for each of you each night before I go to bed. You have no idea how you have touched my heart in ways that you have been my support, my lifeline. I won’t be on here for quite awhile because of the major surgery and the pain that is increasing hour by hour. But know that I wish each of you a Merry Christmas and a Healthy, Happy New Year. Remember, if you have your health, love and respect from people you are the richest person in the world. Thank you Net Hugs. com, for giving me smiles, joy, laughter and sometimes tears by your beautiful words. Thank you for giving me hope when I felt I had nothing more to live for. You have given me joy beyond belief, and saved me from myself. For that I’m grateful. Take care, know that I love you all as my family, know that I love you all as my friends. Please never forget me no matter what happens, I will be looking down on you and remembering what we all shared as friends. Be well, stay well, and be happy. Lift up your heart and be gay, happiness is contagious.

Krsna: that has always been my philosophy through life. In order to get respect you must give it. A person after my own heart. I taught my family these words to live by and in most cases this philosophy has worked.
Have a beautiful day.

This poem truly is inspirational and so true. At times when we feel we have lost Our Divine Lord, we should read the words written here. For in the end, it is Him that we will find our strength and courage. No more pain, no more feeling lost and alone, but only loving and being with our Savior. Thanks so much for the words that you wrote, truly beautiful.

Thank you, God for the light you put in my eyes
To see the purity and the right in all you decide…
Thank you for the love you always surround me;

Thanks you to each one who wrote about the poem. I am the writer and I am not sad, nor am I alienated from Him. He is my Beloved Savior and I just want to do more for Him everyday. It is my hope that if there is anyone out there who does not know Him as their Lord and Savior, that you will not wait any longer. Life in the Lord, is wonderful. No, Ann, I will never feel that I have reached the end of my road without my Lord. I was saved at 8 years old. He has been with me every step of the Way and I Praise His Holy Name.
I encourage you all to place your Life in His. You will never regret it. He is all that matters! God bless you and thanks for your kind words. Love in Him, Karen

This was truly a beautiful poem and the pictures were awesome. It is well known that God knows all our thoughts, wants and desires. He truly loves us, and He knows who truly loves Him. I love Him deeply and sincerely. And when the end of the world comes, I pray that I’m standing beside our Savior and not here on earth. My compliments to the author of this inspirational poem, words that have touched my heart. And I do hope that you don’t really feel that you have reached the end of the road without Our Lord. He loves you and always will. And by you writing this beautiful tribute to, for, and about Him is an indication that He will never leave you.

The Mystic said :
‘At the beginning I was mistaken in four respects:
a) I concerned myself to remember God;
b) To Know HIM
c) To Love HIM
d) And to seek HIM
At the end I saw that:
a) God has remembered me;
b) His knowledge of me preceded mine of Him;
c) His Love had come before mine
d) And He had sought me before I had sought Him.
