The piece of music is indeed beautiful. The instrument being played by MR. Zamfir is called the Pan Pipes. He has had several albums out in years past; I had a number of them, all lovely, on cassette, so I’m guessing it would put the time frame around the late 80’s early 90’s. One might be hard pressed to find any of them available in a more modern format today, but who knows. From my earlier listening experience with this artist, his talent, and the music he selects , it would be quite worth any search you might choose to do. You might also explore Native American Music venue/sources. They are also great users of the Pan Flute and there are some very talented artists out there among that group. Try searching via “Native American” Music sites. It really is a sadly overlooked, underappreciated source of beautiful musical sound. !!!!
