The Saluting Boy on Omaha Beach
On June 6th, 2014, a 11 year old boy wanted to say thank you to the soldiers who fought and died on Omaha beach on D-Day morning 70 years earlier. This is how he did it.

There are not enough words to describe the patriotism of this 11 year old boy and the honor that he has for all veterans of WWII and everyone serving today. Everyone should see this and more people should follow his example of love for America and our Freedom. Thank you for sharing this.

Pastor J. Justin I truly appreciate your loving comment and admire this young boy that stood , at attention honoring the Veterans and those that are defending America today. During World War 11 I had to cousins that were in the Navy Submarine division and a cousin in the Merchant Marines and GOD watch3d over them and brought them home safely to finish living out their lives here with loving families, I carry a prayer in my heart for the Military Troops and their families everyday. May GOD Angels continue to watch over you forever, is my prayer..

I am a USAF veteran. I have two brothers who saw combat in Viet Nam. They are the heroes in our family, like all of our service personnel’s families. My oldest brother told me after his safe return:”Remember— ALL gave some —- Some gave ALL.As an acting corpsman, I helped receive our wounded in what we called Mercy flights, to be treated at our base hospital. It was a privlege — and an honor — to help treat these wounded. I am glad to see that one little 11 year old boy is engaged in bringing our troop’s stories to the public, and honoring those who fought and gave their lives in WWII to keep the flag of our great nation still flying today… God bless all who served our country in past and present wars.

This little young man is very intelligent. We do not hear from many little young men like him who understand how important these men and women are for our Country. They put their lives on the line every day and night for us and our Country. There has been so many who have lost their lives while protecting us and Country. We owe them alot who lost their lives and left their family behind. We also owe the men and women who are still fighting for us and our Country. These young men realize this some time more so than grown men and women.
I know they are very brave men and women as did this 11 year old.
My prayer to them and the 11 year old is that God And His Angels always be with them and hold their hands and bring all the soldier’s home safely. Thank you all and a big Thanks to the 11 year old. Praise God For all of you. Love Mary
