Every person I know, including myself, can remember a Special Tree in our Youth, around which they played along with other children.. Years & years go by, but we all go back to that tree to remember what pleasure our younger days were.. I often wondered as the years went by which of us two would be the first to fall.. SeventyEight years have passed since then, and six years ago that stately Old Elm began it’s last years as branch after branch, – then limb by limb, and finally the whole trunk of the tree.. The pleasure of remembering it’s Life & the sadness of it’s passing are all part of Lifes Memories.. A new little sprig of a tree has begun to grow in that very spot, and my great grand children now have a new place to play..
