We Belong Together – Dion and The Belmonts
Great record/song by the Bronx’s own Belmonts from early 1961 on the Laurie record label. Recorded first by Robert & Johnny in 1958 and covered by many including the Fleetwoods, Ritchie Valens, Los Lobos and on. This version is The Belmonts after they parted ways with Dion & I think its GREAT with Carlo singing lead and The Belmonts perfect & smooth harmonies. Thank you Belmonts for all the great music & memories! What did you think? Please tell us in the comment section below and remember to sign up for our free newsletter.

What a Great Group with Wonderful voices that entertained us in the 60’s. They were also such good looking young men, it was a real pleasure listening and watching the pictures scroll by on this recording. As Always, a superb choice Net Hugs.

I love these guys! Love this song!! I hear the words of the song and it touches my heart. Deeply. Things get so complicated sometimes. I get confused about what I am to believe. The words are as true to me as they are to you. We have been through so many hills and valleys it looks like we are going into another valley. I do not want this. It took too long to get out before. I want us both to stay on the mountain. Together. Misunderstands happens. They can be wiped out with a little understanding. These little dimples like today put me in a “sad” mood. I have to think things through before I respond. The song makes me feel better. I always appreciate knowing where your heart is. Thank You for clarifying this. Loving YOU still!!
