What Defines You?
Lizzie Velasquez was born with a very rare medical condition that affected her appearance along with other complications. Because of that, she was bullied and ridiculed most of her life. In this video, she speaks about her experiences and circumstances of her condition and how she coped and eventually overcame them. What did you think of Lizzie? So what defines you? The Lord works in mysterious ways. Years ago I remember that about the ugliest person on the internet and I clicked on that and there she was and she was now a motivational speaker and I have told people about her a number of times since. Now today, since I receive Net Hugs each day I take a look at it for a change and there she is many years later. Praise God indeed that it is 8 years now, and now there is even a book. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and the Lord is always showing me that. God Bless.

God works in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform. Lizzie, you are one of His wonders as are your parents. We need to ask ourselves who would we rather have for a friend or loved one–a person with a personality like Lizzie, or a beautiful person who is self-serving, critical, selfish, and judgemental? Think on these things.

What an inspiration!! Lizzie you have the rare combination of an inner spiritual strength and a powerful sense of self. May you continue to be gifted and blessed as you help others to walk along the right path of life’s journey. Although your sight is impaired, you see far more than most of us.

She is one Brave Spirited woman…..My Question is this..????…..Why do people judge us by our outward appearances..?????….Why do people think that our outward appearance defines who we really are in life…????…In the BIBLE….God States….I Created you in my own image …..Is it so that other people can Make fun of us..????…Lizzie has given us all something to think about….We have to Love ourselves First…That Defines who we really are in life…..So what if people don’t like us..?????….Until they can Walk on Water themselves….They better take a long Hard look at who they are as well & Be thankful they are who & What God made them to be……Thankyou lizzie for giving us all strength to walk through life with our Heads held…High….The only one who can pass judgement on us is our Creator..!!!!!…

I believe you should speak out anytime you can, and to anyone possible. We ALL need a lesson you just taught us. You are GOD Sent, and I will keep you in my prayers so you will always have the strength to do what you are now doing. I hope to read your book, when it is published. I know it will be inspiring, and well worth reading. Take care, and GOD Bless YOU.

What define’s you is your ability to handle situations/problems when they arose, to encourage yourself on the issues that are trying to befall you and try to have control over them. There are people who come around you during this period, its either they give you positive or nagative advise but it is left for you to determine what to do at that pointing time or pray over every situation you found yourself you will get a good result with the faith in you, you will see a very big change that will draw people’s attension. Once there is a change in your life people will wonders the secret and would want to know how come. be courageous, know those whom you tell your problem apart from God

Hi Lizzie, I just felt like I had to comment on what a wonderful brave young woman you are and to let you know that you are truly beautiful, from the inside out and all the way thru. I have always had a weight problem, but now that I am old and gray I don’t worry about it anymore. I would love to be just like you, the you that really defines you as an intelligent, strong, courageous person that anyone in their right mind should feel honored to call you their friend. Keep doing just what you want to do and don’t ever let the barbs that incompetent people may throw keep you from achieving your goals. God Bless you, and thank you for sharing your courage with us.

Lizzie, you are beautiful and brave. It’s the heart that counts and you have a strong and good one. God has blessed you with courage and He defines you, not what other people can see in the natural. You are the cream that has risen to the top and so far beyond the negative people who judge only what they see with their eyes. Continue on and I pray God will grant you the rest of your goals. Your parents must be absolutely amazing.
