What Happens in Heaven
[slideshow id=66]
This is one of the nicest e-mails I have seen, and it really puts things into Perspective..
I had a dream that I went to Heaven and an angel was showing me around. We walked side-by-side inside a large workroom filled with angels. My angel guide stopped in front of the first section and said, ‘This is the Receiving Section. Here, all petitions to God said in prayer are received.’
I looked around in this area, and it was terribly busy with so many angels sorting out petitions written on voluminous paper sheets and scraps from people all over the world.
Then we moved on down a long corridor until we reached the second section..
The angel then said to me, ‘This is the Packaging and Delivery Section. Here, the graces and blessings the people asked for are processed and delivered to the living persons who asked for them.. ‘I noticed again how busy it was there. There were many angels working hard at that station, since so many blessings had been requested and were being packaged for delivery to Earth.
Finally at the farthest end of the long corridor we stopped at the door of a very small station. To my great surprise, only one angel was seated there, idly doing nothing. ‘This is the Acknowledgment Section,’ my angel friend quietly admitted to me. He seemed embarrassed ‘How is it that there is no work going on here?’ I asked.
‘So sad,’ the angel sighed. ‘After people receive the blessings that they asked for, very few send back acknowledgments .’
‘How does one acknowledge God’s blessings?’ I asked.
‘Simple,’ the angel answered. Just say, ‘Thank you, Lord.’
‘What blessings should they acknowledge?’ I asked.
‘If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep you are richer than 75% of this world. If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish, you are among the top 8% of the world’s wealthy .’
‘And if you get this on your own computer, you are part of the 1% in the world who has that opportunity.’
‘If you woke up this morning with more health than illness … You are more blessed than the many who will not even survive this day .’
‘If you have never experienced the fear in battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation … You are ahead of 700 million people in the world.’
‘If you can attend a church without the fear of harassment, arrest, torture or death you are envied by, and more blessed than, three billion people in the world. ‘
‘If your parents are still alive and still married …you are very rare .’
‘If you can hold your head up and smile, you are not the norm, you’re unique to all those in doubt and despair.’
Ok, what now? How can I start? If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing in that someone was thinking of you as very special and you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world who cannot read at all.
Have a good day, count your blessings, and if you want, pass this along to remind everyone else how blessed we all are.
ATTN:
Acknowledge Dept.:
‘Thank you Lord, for giving me the ability to share this message and for giving me so many wonderful people to share it with.’
If you have read this far, and are thankful for all that you have been blessed with, how can you not send it on????
I thank God especially for all my family and friends!!

Poetry
By Pablo Neruda
(1904 – 1973)
English version by Anthony Kerrigan
And it was at that age… Poetry arrived
in search of me. I don’t know, I don’t know where
it came from, from winter or a river.
I don’t know how or when,
no, they were not voices, they were not words, nor silence,
but from a street I was summoned,
from the branches of night,
abruptly from the others,
among violent fires
or returning alone,
there I was without a face
and it touched me.
I did not know what to say, my mouth
had no way
with names
my eyes were blind,
and something started in my soul,
fever or forgotten wings,
and I made my own way,
deciphering
that fire
and I wrote the first faint line,
faint, without substance, pure
nonsense,
pure wisdom
of someone who knows nothing,
and suddenly I saw
the heavens
unfastened
and open,
planets,
palpitating planations,
shadow perforated,
riddled
with arrows, fire and flowers,
the winding night, the universe.
And I, infinitesimal being,
drunk with the great starry
void,
likeness, image of
mystery,
I felt myself a pure part
of the abyss,
I wheeled with the stars,
my heart broke free on the open sky.

I believe FULLLY in GOD & His Grace. @ age 10 I accepted Christ as my Lord & Savior. In 2005 HE saved my life again. I LIVED through an idiopathic brain aneurysm AND I relearned to walk. I now walk with NO ‘walker’ & put my cane away 2 weeks ago. ONLY GODS Grace. It has been an idiopathic NIGHTMARE & I rely FIRMLY in GOD. My next goal is to go from an ‘assisted living’ in S. Miss to live near family & friend in Tx. (My mother who lives 30 mins away from here is ill) sILVER bELLE. sILVER as I was tarnished & bent & am now shiny. Am a Belle who lives in the deep south.

I’VE ALWAYS BEEN FASCINATED BY STORIES ABOUT HEAVEN. RECENTLY, I BEGAN WATCHING A SERIES ON THE BIOGRAPHY CHANNEL, “I SURVIVED … BEYOND AND BACK.” THESE ARE TRUE ACCOUNTS OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN PRONOUNCED DEAD AFTER RESPIRATION AND HEART RHYTHM HAD STOPPED. WITH A MEDICAL TEAM DETERMINED TO SAVE THE PATIENT, THEY WERE RESUSCITATED AND LIVED TO TELL THE TALE OF THEIR JOURNEY TO HEAVEN. IF THEIR TESTIMONY IS TRUE, WE DON’T HAVE TO BE AFRAID TO DIE. IT SEEMS THAT MOST PATIENTS REPORTED SEEING A BRIGHT LIGHT AND FLOATING UP AND UP TOWARDS IT OR FLOATING DOWN A TUNNEL TOWARDS THE LIGHT. THEY WERE GREETED BY THE SOULS OF THEIR DEAD RELATIVES WHO NO LONGER APPEARED IN THEIR EARTHLY FORM AND DID NOT SPEAK. THEIR MESSAGES WERE RECEIVED TELEPATHICALLY. THE SPIRITS WERE SEEN AS BALLS OF ENERGY! ONE PATIENT HAD ASKED THE SPIRITS, “WHERE IS GOD?” HE WAS TOLD TO LOOK UP TOWARDS THE STARS AND THE STREAMS OF LIGHT COMING DOWN FROM THEM. THE ANSWER WAS, “THAT IS GOD.” (MY MOTHER WAS A PATIENT WHO HAD AN OUT-OF-BODY, NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE WHILE SHE WAS IN THE RECOVERY ROOM AFTER HER OPEN HEART SURGERY!)

It has appeared to me after reading this, that I take things that I have much for granted. I was once babtized, attended church every Sunday and looked forward to this. And now I seem to have strayed away from God, but here I sit and suddenly am not very proud of myself. If I take a very good look at what I have, I am truly blessed. I have a job, a roof over my head, food to be eaten, a bed to sleep in, children that I created and out of all this I have 2 daughters that have been taken away from their mom when they were very young, and I do not know where they are, if they are even alive, what their sur names are, and yes I do think about them, and wonder where they are and would one day love to see them perhaps from afar but to know that they are well, and perhaps to see what they look like. I long to go back to church and to recieve Christ as my saviour again. I am 69 yrs old and have had a good life, but there is emtyness there. do thank god for all that I have. I am no one special, but I am me. Thank you Jesus for allowing me to stay on this earth this long, and fo all of my blessings.

I feel extreemly blessed that 8 of our 9 children, their spouses and all grandchildren but 3 were able to come home for my husband’s 65th birthday, in spite of sever storm advisories. In every case, they were able to travel to and from without the snow, and it was blue sky sunshine when we woke up on Sabbath morning, yet it snowed during the day so that all who wanted to were able to play in the snow to their hearts content. Then it was gone. We have a tiny house, but we all fit and were blessed to have each other. Thank you Jesus!

I love and Thank God every day.He is the only and One and only that doesn’t make fun of you and doesn’t look down on you if you are rick or poor.He loves you because of who you are.It makes no matter if you are fat or sinny. He gave us a heart to love one another,a mind to forgive, and a mouth to say I’m sorry,or I’m here if you need me.So people just take a moment to say God I Love and I Thank You,for I am Bless not for the stuff I have, but because you are in my Life.A life I would not have without you.

Being greatful for blessings recieved is not being arogant. Thanking our maker for our blessings is gratitude for living and for those wonderful things that are sent into our lives. Some are trials to helps us learn how to live and enjoy the good things that come into our lives. God Bless I thank God daily and many times. To those who have much they will be given more. Those who give will be given more.

I have read all the different stories of your lives. I’m so blessed too by our God our Father in heaven for I asked Him when I was still in my adolescent years as to why He chose the Jews only as His special people. My question was how about us, people in other countries. And He answered me alright by reading the bible in Ephesians 1:3-4. That is He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world. That is He chose us before the world began. And not only that, even my children saw the truth about it. God is magnificent and that’s how He love His children. He answers if you ask.

The story tells about a mountain climber who wanted to climb the highest mountain. He began his adventure after many years of preparation, but since he wanted the glory just for himself, he decided to climb the mountain alone. The nights felt heavy in the heights of the mountain, and the man could not see anything. All was black. Zero visibility and the moon and the stars were covered by the clouds. As he was climbing only a few feet away from the top of the mountain, he slipped and fell into the air, falling at a great speed. The climber could only see black spots as he went down, and the terrible sensation of being sucked by gravity. He kept falling……and in those moments of great fear, it came to his mind at all the good and bad episodes in his life.
He was thinking now how close death was getting, when all of a sudden he felt the rope tied to his waist pull him very hard.
His body was hanging in the air. Only the rope was holding him and in that moment of stillness he had no other choice but to scream. HELP ME GOD!!!
All of a sudden a deep voice coming from the sky answered:-
What do you want me to do?
-Save me God!!
Do you really think I can save you?
– Of course I believe save me
THEN CUT THE ROPE TIED TO YOUR WAIST
There was a moment of silence and the man decided to hold onto the rope with all his strength.
The rescue team tells that the next day a climber was found dead and frozen……his body hanging from a rope. His hands holding it tight…………..
ONLY TEN FEET AWAY FROM THE GROUND.
And you how attached are you to your rope?
Will you let go?
Don’t ever doubt the things from God. You never should say that He has forgotten or abandoned you. Don’t ever think that He does not take care of you. Remember that He is always holding you with His right hand. Isa 41:13
If this message was a blessing to you share it with the ones you love.
