Hey Theresa, Great Post. I too had the same experience Jan 2, 1970. Now 41 years later it is a real to me as if it was yesterday Faith came to live in my heart that nite, and hasn’t let since. Now at 63, I too have started back to University. So, Let’s keep going, we’re as young as we think we are Pressing on to the high calling of God in Christ Jesus!!
I experienced the love of God on the bus one day on the bus in 2005. What an awesome experience. With this came. Faith, Hope, Love and courage. These will be with me for the rest of my life. To give you an example, my pastor said I wasn’t genuine so I asked him if he felt God, of course he said yes. Naturally I told that if he did he would not have told me I was not genuine. I am 77 and am attending University to earn my degree in Psychology, this is an example of Hope and Courage, knowing I will succeed is an example of Faith. When I felt God this was the example of Awesome Love. All is with me and I help others to find it. My life is wonderful and my attitude and mental age is 30 to 40. Of course my body gives away my chronological age but that is life and I accept it. As you see, there is a lot to the word Faith.

Faith based on knowledge is true faith! But faith based on superstition will mislead one in life! Faith based on love, truth and courage makes one strong in character!
Faith is believing in the UNSEEN. Faith is believing that whatever happens to us good or bad is an act of ALLAH. May HE give us the strong will to abide by HIS rules and the teachings of HOLY PROPHET MUHAMMAD {SAW}-{PBUH}.
