When Life Gets Hard

I wanted to find some words on a card.
That would help to get thru it when life gets so hard.
It seems you can’t bear it – perhaps can’t go on –
When deep in the heart there’s no trace of a song.
Some words that would comfort –
when late in the night the trials return and –
you’re too tired to fight.
Or the tears flow so often it seems you’ll run dry.
And life gets so tough that you just want to die –
Or at least go and hide –
where you’re safe from all pain.
Someplace you can rest ’til you find joy again.
What are the words you so need to hear –
That will help and will heal and remove all the fear –
That builds up inside ’til you think you’ll explode –
What are the words that will lighten the load?
If only I knew the right words to say.
To encourage and Bless you or comfort some way.
I know not the words but this I can do.
I shall offer up Prayers to the Father for you.

I GOT THIS SENT TO ME FROM MY DEAR FRIEND IN UK . I AM HAVING A HARD TIME JUST NOW TRYING TO LOOK AFTER MY HUSBAND WHO HAS DEMENTIA I LOVE HIM DEARLY AND HAVE HIM AT HOME WITH ME STILL I AM NOT READY TO LET GO WE HAVE NEVER BEEN PARTED , I PRAY EVERY NIGHT AND TALK TO JUSUS AND OUR FATHER , IT IS VERY SAD TO SEE HIM GOING DOWN HILL . HE HAS ALL THE MEDS THAT ARE OUT THERE TO HELP HIM AND SLOW IT DOWN , BUT I FIND IT VERY HARD TRYING TO LO OK AFTER HIS NEEDS IT IT A TRUE SAYING THAT NO ONE KNOWS WHAT ITS LIKE TILL THEY HAVE WALKED IN YOUR SHOES . Wondering what the right words to say to someone, our minister said, “just be there.”
Call or write to tell them that you are praying for them.
GOD gave us tears for a reason… use them when needed.
“Those who live in the Lord never see each other for the last time.”
Rest in the arms of GOD and be comforted.

You are so right.I am going through that hard time right now and some days do not know where to turn.I have just put it all in Gods Hands as I know he has always been there for me and will be this time.
I know when my Dad (who was my best friend) passed away and at the same time I caught my now EX Husband with other women,I wanted to die for a very long time.I did not think I could handle all the things that were happening to me but one night I dreamed (I think it was a dream) that My Dad was reaching his hand down through the clouds and there was a ladder going up to him.I started climbing that ladder and I reached up to touch Daddys hand and I asked him “If he could see me”He answered me “No, but I can hear you”That was the turning point for me after a very long year.I know God knew this is what I needed and he answered my prayer in this way.There is not a day that I do not Pray for everyone and Thank him for all he has done for me.I know he will see me through this too.I am 67 years old and I need a house to live in but I am on Social Security and can not afford to make the down payment needed to get one so please anyone that reads this Pray for me.I just want peace in my life before I die.I put all my Faith in God and I have put it in his hands now.

Beautiful poem….everyone goes through rough times in their life. The Bible says to cast all our cares on Him because He cares for us. I often think of the Poem “Footprints in the Sand”, when we go through the roughest times in our lives, and don’t seem to feel God with us and it is so painful, it is at those times that He is carrying us! Please keep my daughter in your prayers, a relationship she and her fiance had for 12 years has just crumbled, he has been unfaithful to her and she couldn’t trust him, she and her son (my grandson) have been hurt because of him many times. Please help us pray that God will help her through this difficult time in her life, letting go of the past and moving on. I know it isn’t easy but with God all things are possible. Thanks for all your prayers for her and my 15 yr. old grandson. 🙂

They always say, there is light at the end of the tunnel, even tho at times like this in your life you can’t see it. 🙁 God is testing me beyond all means right now. I am falling fast, but tugging at the edges to keep myself above water. Husband had a bunch of strokes and has cognative brain damage. Was in the hospital 5 weeks, now is in healthcare facility. Not doing so well. Entire life altering changes for all of us. He is only 49 and I am 61.

Every time we don’t understand, we cannot find (or do) something…the best is to pray… because if you or me or we don’t know… He, The Father, knows better.

This is so Neat!!! Out of the Blue I Started to Receive These Beautiful Poems. The First of Angels. The Thing is that I was Suffering from a Back Injury. It was as if God Guided these Inspirational Verses to Come to Me to Bring Comfort.

To all who have to deal with life’s surprises, whether hard, hurting ones, or sweet, new gifts from Heaven’s King! I pray for strength for you to endure until He says “It is enough, come home my child”. Dear Hilda, you are walking a road that is unknown to you at this time, but…I have been a hospice nurse and walked the unknown road with several ladies with cancer. When the end came, they were so peaceful and so ready. We do not know when any one of us will pass down that road. We could step outside the house, never to enter again. But…these tents we are wearing (as the bible calls our bodies) are just temporary. He has gone to prepare a place for us! I am excited about it! This is a place where we are just passing through. let us share His love before it is too late, for we shall never walk this way again….God bless everyone here.

We all have times of pain, sorrow, grief, I am going through a very hard time in my life everything is coming apart….lost my Dad….and I have been diagnose with breast cancer….I AM DIEING……but GOD will be with me I never let go of his hand…..I love this poem can’t hold back my tears……My heavenly father will help me fight this battle……We are nothing with out him…I pray pray and pray… No matter what each and everyone of us go through, our lord is standing beside us.. GOD HELP US ALL.HAVE COMPASSION AND MERCY ON US……Thank you to all of you out there for your support….and just reading my short story….pls keep me in your PRAYERS….GOD BLESS each and everyone of you….right now I feel like am dieing…… Thank you so much. I need many prayers with GOD I can fight this…and win this battle….I have hope faith and strenght to go on…

May i tell Judy,a well deserved thank you so much….After i read the statement that came with the picture, I fell in love with the statement. I then read her comment, and it put a very kind thought in my mind, for the person I was looking for a special prayer, like that one…again, thank the person, unknow, who wth the help of the FATHER, wrote that statement, and thank you Judy for calling my attention to it, and thank GLORIA for submitting the beautiful saying for publishing, just thank all for printin it and allowing it to be read. When it,s to dark to see any light, when you,ve reached, what you think is the end of the road & your feeling helpless & lonely, lay it ALL at the feet of Jesus, & HE promises HE,LL take care of EVERYTHING, take your faith as small as a grain of mustard seed, & WATCH,. It will pass & you,ll see that light at the end of your journey, because HE was there all along, & everything will be all right. GOD BLESS everyone out there who needs to know HIS touch.
