I love George Jones, he sings right from his heart. This makes me think of how my mother would sing with us when we were doing the dishes. She was an amazing woman to raise 8 children in a two bedroom house. Seven children slept in one room and the baby was in the crib in my parents room. I think my mother and father are gems, they sure loved their children and even though there was not much money they took us camping on the back of my father’s work truck. There isn’t enough money to pay for the memories I have from my childhood days. It makes me smile from ear to ear. Money can’t buy the love and joy there was in our old run down house. I have the best memories anyone could ask for and we were poorer than dirt. You can’t buy that.

After thirty something, or more of being a no show jones…have to admit this is one song I had never heard”. Wow…? ? Reminds me when I was a child, wake up to hearing my momma and my granny singing to the gospel playing on the radio…some breath taking memories….

I love this song. It brings many memories of having the privilege of having my wife Edna with me. She was a very special woman and I miss her so much as do her family. I talk to her every day and hear her voice in my head. I will se glad one day to be with God and her again. I luv you honey.

What a lovely song about his mum I still miss mine its been 16 years now and she was saved about 2 months before she passed away Praise the Lord
