My family was fortunate enough to visit this site many years ago. Standing, looking out over the beach, trying to visualize what took place at that time, couldn’t begin to imagine the horror. Still can’t. Is this even mentioned in the History books any more??

How totally profound. My parents lost their families in the Holocaust and then came to Canada as refugees. I really appreciate this gorgeous creation. Yes, it pays to believe if humans can create this kind of beauty from horror. We can do it. I know we can!

I feel like Shirley did on hearing this beautiful song and message with such beautiful background about an event in World History that was so tragic. Bless all those men and women who died during that time. We are truly grateful for their sacrifice. Love your site!!! Dennis

We who lived through those awful days are grateful for this beautiful tribute. My husband escaped death on D-Day and was privileged to live a long and happy life.
