here Flowers Bloom blessed my heart in this space between the Holy celebration of Jesus’ birth and the beginning of the new year. In the winding down of the year we some times get a sense of defeat if the year hasn’t been the best and a feeling of fatigue from the hectic pace of tryihng to fit it all in. The camelias, sweet olive and the holly berries so cheery and bright bring us delight at the ending of the year. Though the snow falls leave a pristine beauty all its own we cherish the beauty of the winter flowers for the cheery note they lend to the year’s end. WHEN A SMALL CHILD, LIVING IN A CONCRETE CITY, ONE DAY I FOUND A DANDELION GROWING OUT OF A CRACK IN THE SIDEWALK… I BENT DOWN AND THOUGHT IT WAS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FLOWER EVER.
A GOLDEN YELLOW FUZZY FLOWER… I DIDN’T NEED EXPENSIVE ROSES, ORCHIDS ETC. THIS WAS GOD
