You are perfectly correct in your assumption. It is Ernesto Cortazar playing.
This one particular piece has also brought many tears to my eyes as well.
If you would so like a copy of his disc, that includes this piece and 19 other pieces, all beautiful, and you have no problem or objection with giving me an address where I could forward it to, I will gladly do so.
Having collected 170 pieces of his music, I consider him to be one of the greatest. Not a day goes by but what I listen to his music.
