Yesterday, Tomorrow, and Today
There are two days in every week about which we should not worry. Two days which should be kept free from fear and apprehension.
One of these days is yesterday with its mistakes and cares, Its faults and blunders, Its aches and pains. Yesterday has passed forever beyond our control. All the money in the world cannot bring back yesterday. We cannot undo a single act we performed. We cannot erase a single word we said. Yesterday is gone.
The other day we should not worry about is tomorrow. With its possible adversities, Its burdens, Its large promise and poor performance. Tomorrow is also beyond our immediate control. Tomorrow’s Sun will rise, either in splendor or behind a mask of clouds, but it will rise. Until it does, we have no stake in tomorrow, for it is yet unborn.
This just leaves only one day… Today. Any person can fight the battles of just one day. It is only when you and I add the burdens of those two awful eternity’s – yesterday and tomorrow that we break down. It is not the experience of today that drives people mad. It is the remorse of bitterness for something which happened yesterday and the dread of what tomorrow may bring.
Let us therefore live but one day at a time.

The Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow plant is a shrub or small tree that blossoms late into the season. A native to the Brazilian rainforests, this plant enjoys warmer climates in zones 9 , 10 and 11, or can be grown in cooler zones in containers to be brought indoors when frost threatens.

What a great lesson for us. I pray we all learn and put it in to practice. The scripture cannot be broken. Why worry, when you can pray?

Yes I believe that one ought to live his life one day at a time, that yesterday ended last night and that God has not guaranteed us tomorrow. This is my way of saying that the card is just wonderful

I think that is great – I have a rabbit that my mum gave me when I was going thro hard times..it holds a boad that says “cherish yesterday, dream of tomorrow but live for today. ” She has now sadly passed away but the rabbit hangs next to my bed so I see its message each and every morning when I wake up. This card reminds me so much of what she would have said. thankyou

Very good advice…thank you for reminding me and putting things in perspective.
I try to do things better today than I did yesterday, so that when tomorrow comes, I will
feel good about what I did yesterday. With GOD by our side and asking for His advice,
I feel so comforted. Thank you GOD for all of your blessings. Amen…

A message with a very special meaning that everyone can learn from. We cannot
