Your Sacrifice
We walked among the crosses
Where our fallen soldiers lay.
And listened to the bugle
As taps began to play.
The Chaplin led a prayer
We stood with heads bowed low.
And I thought of fallen comrades
I had known so long ago.
They came from every city
Across this fertile land.
That we might live in freedom.
They lie here ‘neath the sand.
I felt a little guilty
My sacrifice was small.
I only lost a little time
But these men lost their all.
Now the services are over
For this Memorial Day.
To the names upon these crosses
I just want to say,
Thanks for what you’ve given
No one could ask for more.
May you rest with God in heaven
From now through evermore.

My husband is a Vietnam Vet. wounded 3 times and its only by a miracle of God he made it back. Spent 9 months in the hospital but praise God he is here to talk about it, and it has not been easy. God bless and strengthen the families of those who had and have relatives in past and present war. We need to continue to pray for all soldiers at war for Gods protection upon them and may He bring them back with life. God bless

I salute the flag and the soldiers who gave their lives to the country. But, my citizenship is in heaven and to be with me in heaven, God wants us to be pure in heart, blameless and courageous to do His will. God is the Omnipotent, Omniscience and only Omnipresent of all. He is the only One Who is Perfect in the whole universe. God is love and those who loves Him loves everybody! Again I salute to the heroes for we love them as God loves them.

God Bless All Our Men and Women of the military. Around Memorial Day and Veterans Day each year, I often feel guilty that I did not serve in the military. I had considered it at one time, but life’s journey took me on another path. So what can I do now at 51 years old…well I can do what all of us should do…when you cross paths with a man or women of the military, reach out your hand to them and thank them will your whole heart for their service. It’s a very simple thing to do….
God Bless Our Troops…God Bless America!!!!!

NODDY & ASK DAVE: I respect your faith… please respect mine. No country is
PERFECT, no matter where you come from… we try the best we can to respect
and help everyone, no matter who they are… it all comes from LOVE, and it is
between our maker and ourselves… not “them.”
Are you a Hindu and do you come from India ??? Or are you a muslim ???
Blessings… Elizabeth W.

It was a honor to serve my Flag my country. I love what the colors stand for I love what we all stand for. Freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom however we have to remember was not free! Great Men and Women came before us. Now they want to take God out of our “Constitution” we can not allow that. Freedom of religion is one of the main freedoms this Country was founded on and fought for, shed blood for. A soldier signs a blank check and never asks how much.
I ask? How many of you know what the colors of the Flag stands for?
It saddens my heart. One young lady told me “white was the color of our skin.”
God help us all. Americans are taking to much for for granted.
Here is a quote, “All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.” ——-Thomas Jefferson
“God Bless us all”

Remember that Somebody may be you.
