I was born in 1948, so I didn’t here this one much. I can’t remenber who else recorded this song but I do recall hereing it. I am a Country Music fan.

I won the country division with this song at Sheppard AFB Texas in 1969. Ten years before I won popular with Be-Bop-A-Lula. Englebert just took old songs and revived them. He made the most money on Release Me,even though it came out in 1954.
