Red and yellow painted leaves
hang idly within the trees
They break and sail along the breeze
As fires of Autumn’s time
They dance and surf upon the ground
Overlap each other with ruffling sound
A setting I am glad I found
As fires of Autumn’s time
Like fires of the Autumn season
they leap and dance without a reason
A factor of Autumns many seasons
As fires of Autumn’s time’
The grey clouds break, the sun appears
The dancing leaves appear to sere
These flames its kept for many years
As fires of Autumn’s time

Autumn is my favorite time of year to throw myself in a pile of leaves. Winter after the first snowfall gives me a wonderful uplift as I go sledding with my dogs down the golf course, Spring, a time of sharing love with that special person and breathing in God’s fresh air, and summer a time to relax and get that lobster sunburn. Only had a tan once in my life. When I was in my 20’s and spent 15 gorgeous days in Hawaii. Haven’t had a tan since. But then again haven’t been back to Hawaii since. God is so good in sharing the four beautiful seasons with us….at least we don’t get bored with the same type of weather all the time. Oh by the way, with all that I had mentioned about these four seasons I still do everything mentioned above…even at 64 1/2 yrs of age. Don’t want any grass to grow under my feet. lol
