Just as I was giving up on love
yes it is so very true

And feeling so darned blue
All I had to do was turn around

Just as my world was shrinking
And friends was so very few
Then I looked all around me

Just as I thought
Things was meant that way too
I just had to open my eyes

Just as nothing was going right
And I needed a friend like you
All I had to do was pray

I had prayed for an angel
But had given up on that too
Before I could even picture it

Just when all else failed
And I was feeling so blue
I just close my eyes

Just as God made the heavens

Ah….how well I remember tht feeling, and how I miss it so. But the great thing is that I have had it, more than once, so I consider myself truly blessed. Alas, still I miss the love of my life, whom I truly believe was my soulmate and touchstone. But as long as there is God there is hope, and while there is breath in my bones, perhaps the two of us will reunite again, rekindling what was once and I’m sure remains a magical love, that will allow us to grow old together in that warm cocoon we once shared.
